As part of this commitment, we are building partnerships across South Asia that support education, period dignity, and women’s empowerment. These collaborations form the foundation of our Giving & Impact Partners initiative.

Ratnabala x AlterYouth

Ratnabala partners with AlterYouth to support access to education in Bangladesh by helping families overcome the financial pressures that often push children out of school. This initiative focuses on continuity, dignity, and long-term impact, ensuring education remains a viable choice for families month after month.

Why & How We Give

Ratnabala is inspired by the women who led quietly, crafted with intention, and uplifted their communities. In their honour, we dedicate a portion of our revenue to initiatives that reflect our core values:

Education for children and young women
Menstrual health and dignity
Skills, income and financial independence for South Asian women

We intentionally work with small, reputable, community-driven organisations so the impact is real, personal and measurable.

From every piece of jewellery, a fixed portion is saved and distributed, regardless of price or profit. This is not a one-off act, but the defining core of Ratnabala. As long as we exist, we will give back; our business and our mission are interdependent and inseparable.

Our Focus Areas

Education

Supporting programs that help children, especially girls, stay in school, continue their studies, and access opportunities that create long-term change.

Women's Empowerment

Support initiatives that provide women with skills training, entrepreneurship opportunities, and pathways to financial independence.

The Debanandpur Project

The Debanandpur Project is Ratnabala’s first women-led initiative, supporting a group of artisans in Debanandpur, West Bengal. Using traditional saree and drape fabrics, local women handcraft vibrant cloth bracelets as a source of dignified, paid creative work.

This project reflects Ratnabala’s purpose: empowering South Asian women through opportunity, recognition, and community-driven craftsmanship.
