Ratnabala encouraged the women in her village to be more than housemakers; she supported their growth into educated, skilled, and financially independent individuals. Ratnabala is currently supporting Takiya, a primary school student in Bangladesh, through a monthly scholarship via AlterYouth, helping ensure she can continue attending school consistently and without interruption.
